Battle of Atlanta
June 12 – 14 Thursday, Friday, Saturday
Four Warrior competed as follows: Leonardo Bravo Arteaga – Black Belt; Yarek Bravo Arteaga – Brown Belt; Naomi Velez – Green Belt and Sophia Rivera – Green Belt.
- Sophia Rivera place 2nd in Traditional Weapons and 3rd in Traditional Forms, Intermediate Division, 12-13 Females.
- Naomi Velez place 5th in Traditional Weapons and 9th in Traditional Forms, Intermediate Division, 10-11 Female.
- Yarek Bravo Arteaga placed 6th in Traditional Forms, 8th in Traditional Sparring, and 10th in Traditional Weapon/Advanced 12-13 Male Division.
This was an International open sport martial arts competition event with competitors from all over the world. It was the first time they enter an event of this magnitude and had fun making new friends and learning.
